When I was pregnant with my children the term "maternity fashion" was actualluy an oxymoron. All I could find were yards of low grade material that made me look and feel very awkward and unattractive. It couldn't be called fashion; it was only a temporary way to hide my ever growing body. It was with great delight that I later found a wealth of maternity clothing that was totally different from what it had been. Beautiful fabrics, lines and forms take on a life of their own with color, shape and style.
Fashion has always intrigued me – the way trends come and go and then come back again in new and vibrant ways. After 20 years in the public accounting arena, I decided to allow the artistic side of my brain to take over.
