Baby Sling Solarveil by ZoloWear
These ZoloWear ring slings are made from a lightweight mesh that dries quickly and keeps baby cool and safe from the sun (the fabric is designed to block harmful rays.) Every ring sling has a secure, zippered pocket for storing a diaper, wipes, keys, sunglasses, or whatever else you need to tote. A free instructional DVD will help you get maximum comfort from your ZoloWear ring sling, with variations on the six different carries: front facing in, front facing out, cradle, hip, back and breastfeeding.
ZoloWear cares about babywearing safety. Our ring slings have been tested by an independent safety lab. For best comfort, we recommend wearing babies and toddlers under 40 lbs. Each ZoloWear ring sling is carefully inspected and packaged in a reuseable zippered bag with detailed printed instructions. Our baby carriers are made in the U.S.A. of the finest materials available.
About Us
ZoloWear, Inc. is a privately held corporation founded by babywearing guru Darien Wilson. It is named for her daughter Zoe Love, who was born on Valentine's Day 2000.
Zoe was an in-arms baby. Darien’s padded ring sling was helpful, but all that padding was like wearing a comforter in the Texas heat. And it wasn’t the fashion accessory she had in mind. During Zoe’s short naps, Darien stitched up cool slings on her Memaw’s fifty year old Singer. She played with beautiful fabrics and fun prints. She added a pocket and voila! The perfect combination of fashion and function. Her new slings were so much more comfortable and easier to adjust without all that padding. Everywhere she and Zoe went, people asked where she found such a fashionable sling. Thus ZoloWear was born in August of 2001.
ZoloWear products are now sewn on industrial machines by professional sewers, but ZoloWear remains a family run business.
Our core purpose is to bring mothers and babies together, beautifully. Our baby carriers are meticulously constructed and carefully inspected in Texas.
Baby should ride as high and tight as possible to maximize the wearer's comfort. For this reason, it is imperative to get a good fit. Baby's bottom should be in the sling zone (see illustration at right).
ZoloWear slings are sized for adults. They are not women’s sizes, so an average sized woman may wear a small sling. Please use the chart and/or measure to determine your size. Do not use your preferred clothing size as a guide when choosing your sling, as clothing sizes vary among brands.
There is 3” difference between sling sizes. Pouches are available in 1" increments.
For more precise fitting slings and pouches, measure across the front of your body from the tip of your shoulder to the middle of your opposite mid-hip (in the sling zone).
Use these tables to find your ZoloWear size.
